Our members:   Eva is a 15-year-old student who studies in the Ast junior high school class.

Xanthia: is an 18-year-old who studies in the C of High school the last one. 

Seize Some Moments of Hope

After the devastating earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, a separate page was created on the project's Twinspace, under the page category 'February', which allows us to show our empathy and offer 'Moments of Hope' to our friends in Türkiye. 

Students can upload  a video message or do other things to show we care about what happened in their country. 

We're happy to be at the side of our Turkish friends in these difficult times. Though we may not be able to offer a lot, HOPE is a powerful and wonderful gift. In the end, we are all people striving for a happy and safe future for ourselves and our beloved ones.

A nice gesture which fits in well with our project idea: thanks to our positive vibes Turkish students and their teachers can 'Seize Some Moments of Hope'

In Vytina Senior High School we are also working on avatars and profiles this week!

Student Profiles

Our Brussels students are working diligently on their laptops ... creating an avatar and writing a profile text. Last week, they also voted on our project logo and took an online test about eSafety. We used the Socrative Web2.0 tool for this.

February starts with an introduction and chat between students! They describe themselves and their interests on a padlet and receive likes and comments by other members of the project.

These are the netiquette rules of the two groups from SJC, Brussel (Belgium).
Our students wrote them when taking the classes described in the lesson plan 'eSafety'.
We used the free Web2.0 tool 'Digipad'.
